prayertimes update
alsalam 3alaikum,
some mass updates to the new prayertime app. first, per the comment by Abu Hafs, the time is now in non-military time. secondly, there are now some initial rss feeds for each location. thirdly, some changes were made to the ui. click here to check it out.

currently, its doing the times based on isna… however, the library being used to calculate the times is based on an older version of libitl. this is why some of the times are a few minutes off. one of the todo items is to insha’Allah upgrade to usage of the newer library, (which is okay because this is still just a beta product).

I will submit a .xml file from the flash to the server and then can you write the results to a .xml file for me instead of dynamic rss. The .xml from the flash will be sent to a .php or .asp address.

you should not need to write the output to an xml file, because the content type of the file returned from the php file, calculate.php, is xml and so it shouldn’t be something you have to do something special for… dynamic rss or static rss, to flash it shouldn’t matter at all… to flash, it should just think that the php file is a static xml file.
